Uday Turaga, PhD

Uday Turaga is Founder & CEO of ADI Analytics and CEO of CMR. He brings 20 years of industry experience gained at ExxonMobil, Phillips 66, Booz, ADI, Penn State, and National Chemical Laboratory. Turaga holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry, a PhD in fuel science from Penn State, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He spent his early career in technical roles on metallocene development for EPDM synthesis and catalyst scale-up and commercialization for industrial hydrocarbon conversions at the Phillips 66 R&D center, which is a National Historic Chemical Landmark for the discovery of polypropylene and high-density polyethylene. Turaga brings deep commercial and technical expertise in oil and gas and chemicals and specializes in corporate strategy, market research, economic analysis, competitive intelligence, and technology assessments. In addition to authoring over 100 papers and patents, he has been recognized by the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, the American Chemical Society, and the Penn State Alumni Association. Finally, Turaga has been featured in various news and media outlets including Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, and Bloomberg, and is a frequent speaker on energy issues at conferences and events globally.

Brandon Johnson

Brandon Johnson is an analyst at ADI Analytics and holds a B.S. in physics from Stephen F. Austin State University. He has experience in the oil and gas, chemical, power generation, and mining industries. His expertise includes technology assessments, competitive benchmarking, market size modeling, and risk analysis using Monte Carlo uncertainty analysis. He has utilized these skills to understand the economics, investment attractiveness, and competitive landscape of the engineered pump, wet gas and multi-phase compressor, bearing, seal, and heat exchanger markets. In addition, Johnson has supported development of go-to- market, M&A, and growth strategies for various clients with emphasis on original equipment manufacturers serving the oil and gas, and chemical industries.

Swetha Sivaswamy

Swetha Sivaswamy has three years of experience in research and consulting in oil & gas and chemicals space. She is proficient in data analytics and excel modeling and has completed several engagements on market entry, competitive benchmarking, market sizing, growth strategy and feasibility studies. Her previous employers were KPMG and Frost & Sullivan. Sivaswamy has double master’s degree each in chemical engineering and business, from Georgia Institute of Technology and Indian School of Business respectively.

Prasada Rao, PhD

In a distinguished career spanning over 45 years, Prasada Rao has led the national laboratory Indian Institute of Petroleum as its chief executive, served in senior roles at leading public sector institutions in India such as Fertilizer Corporation of India and Indian Petrochemicals Corporation (now part of Reliance Industries Limited), and advised the boards and management of a number of companies around the world. Rao brings a deep understanding of the oil and gas, chemicals, and energy industries in emerging economies, global refining and chemical markets, innovation and technology for competitive advantage, and organizational leadership. He holds bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees in chemistry from Andhra University, has published numerous papers and patents, and has been recognized with a number of awards and honors including the PETROTECH Lifetime Achievement Award presented by India’s Prime Minister in 2014.

Vis Viswanathan, PhD

Vis Viswanathan brings over 35 years of oil and gas, coal, and chemical industry experience with leading companies such as ConocoPhillips, Akzo-Nobel, Nexant, and Lummus in roles spanning corporate strategy, technology assessments, innovation and R&D, and process economics and modeling. He is renowned for his deep expertise and broad experience in shale gas and unconventional resources, natural gas processing and monetization, coal gasification and utilization, biofuels and bioenergy, chemicals, and materials. Viswanathan holds two degrees in chemical engineering — a PhD from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai — and has published and patented extensively and has presented at a number of leading industry conferences.

Deepti Kesiraju

Deepti Kesiraju holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and statistics and an MBA in marketing. She brings nearly 10 years of experience in accounting, marketing, capital projects, commodity trading, trading back office operations, and financial analysis in the oil and gas industry with leading companies including ConocoPhillips and BG Group. She supports internal operations with emphasis on marketing and finance at ADI Analytics.

Faiza Tanvir

Faiza Tanvir is an analyst with ADI Analytics and brings extensive experience in gathering, maintaining, and analyzing data sets, primary and secondary research, capital project monitoring and profiling, and market research. She has supported many consulting projects and teams through market research and competitive landscaping across oil and gas, specialty and commodity chemicals, and other alternative energies: solar, wind, geothermal. Faiza also leads the marketing effort for ADI Analytics including outreach, newsletters, and social media engagement. She was educated at Houston Community College and the University of Houston.

Palak Puri

Palak Puri is a business analyst who has led and supported multiple client engagements in chemicals, oil and gas, and mining industries. She holds a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Houston and a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from BITS Pilani in India. She brings strong academic and conceptual knowledge of polymers, refining catalysts, and petrochemical industry. She can seamlessly couple this with excellent interpersonal skills making her an efficient market research professional. Her strong data modeling skills allow her to translate seemingly incoherent data into meaningful stories that allow clients to gain excellent insights into their business problems.
